About Our Club

Experience the Mid-Cape difference and you'll see why we've been voted "The Best of Cape Coral" six years running.

The Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club in Cape Coral provides quality programs and services with superior facilities as a full service health club. 

In the Fall of 2004, we marked the long-awaited return of "soft" tennis courts to Cape Coral when the new Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club opened its Tennis Center.  In the Fall of 2006, we opened our 18,000 square-foot Fitness Center, providing us with nearly 5 acres of multi-purpose fitness space.  In the next few months, we will bring the area's best Boot Camp program on-site, using an additional one-plus acres of Mid-Cape land.

Our building features a full health club facility, including  2 convertible racquetball/squash courts with a moveable back wall,  Nautilus Nitro series variable resistance circuits, Nautilus free-weights, and cardio-vascular exercise equipment provided by Nautilus,  Stairmaster,  LifeFitness, Schwinn, LeMonde, and more.  Three fully-equipped group exercise studios offer well over 30 classes per week, including Boot Camp, Group Power, Metabolic Effect, Total Body Training, Yoga, Pilates, Stretch 'n' Core, Zumba, and Group Cycling.  Check out our Fitness Center pages for more info on classes and schedules.

Ensuring your health, safety, and welfare at all times, all of our fitness associates are Certified Personal Trainers, Health Coaches, and First Responders with First-Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator certifications (AED's on-site).  Most of our club's employees are also First Responders with First-Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator certifications.

When it comes to Personal Training, Mid-Cape is the best in Southwest Florida.  Our Personal Trainers have certifications from the most recognized programs in the world.  Moreover, they have the experience necessary to tailor programs just for you.  We are THE personal training club. 

Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club's Tennis Center has 10 Har-TruŽ, fast-dry tennis courts constructed by Welch Tennis Courts, Inc., The premier tennis court builder in the country today.  All 10 courts are lit for night play using Techlight's tournament-level lighting configuration.  The best lighting you'll find anywhere.  Check out our Tennis Center pages for more info on classes, leagues, and schedules.

Other services include locker rooms, featuring dry saunas, steam rooms, and a co-ed whirlpool overlooking the tennis courts.   Child care services, a pro shop, massage therapy, permanent cosmetics, smoothie bar, and tennis court viewing areas are only a few of the additional highlights that enhance this ultra-modern facility.

Whatever you're looking for in a health and fitness regimen, you'll find it here. Our full service health club combines a full range of fitness and exercise equipment and facilities with professional trainers, personally tailored programs, and group health and fitness classes. You can access as many or as few of the organized programs as you choose while still having use of our extensive equipment.

Our club also provides a friendly, motivating and energizing environment for your physical activities. Your fellow members and our trained professionals are both on hand to guide and support you. If a class atmosphere works for you, we offer dozens of regularly scheduled fitness and exercise programs.

We also provide the solution to a common stumbling block to regular exercise: The Weather! Here you can exercise whenever you choose without regard to outside temperature and humidity. Our club is also a safe place to exercise featuring an accredited emergency response plan and employees trained in CPR, AED, and first aid.


Why Exercise?

Regular exercise improves your health in a number of ways. When performed on most days of the week, regular physical activity reduces the risk of developing such things as high blood pressure and diabetes and reduces your risk of dying from heart disease. Not only does regular exercise help control weight, it also helps build and maintain healthy bones, joints and muscles as well as promote psychological well-being.
